I’ve been writing more but less here on this blog.
Not day goes by that I don’t pick up a pen, pencil or click on my keyboard.
If I had nothing left, I know I’d have my words to support me. Maybe not in a capitalistic way but definitely my heart’s way and to me that is most important.
Poetry, prose, and stories call me.
I dream words.
Wake up to the sound of words.
I am a poem.
Words explore the aches within me and around me; I can’t hold back anymore.
Currently, I have three manuscripts of poetry waiting for me to edit and to give them love. I have the beginnings of a novel; it is an adventure and a quest of a young women’s dreams. And I have two more manuscripts of children’s books.
Time and time again I’m being pulled back to my words.
Follow me. And together we can explore the sound of words, the heart of stories, poetry that bleeds, a soul that listens, a path that lets us be who we are meant to be.
