My name is Carolyn Riker and I’m a licensed mental health counselor. I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. My counseling career started on the east coast as Licensed Professional Counselor. Prior to that I worked inpatient as a psychiatric counselor and later spent several years as a domestic relations counselor with the 18th district court in Alexandria, VA. There I worked with individuals and families, specializing in domestic violence, mediating difficult cases and providing counseling and community resources.
In 1996, life brought me to the Pacific Northwest and for several years I was a mental health counselor with a nonprofit agency as well as a counselor for a private elementary school.
I provide counseling sessions that are short-term and long-term. I also offer a free, 15-minute phone consultation to see if you and I are a good match to work together. If you are interested in working me, please email me at CarolynRA7@hotmail.com.
